Something I learned because of this card: The photo for this card was taken on the last day of the regular season, October 1, 2017. I wondered if it would end up being the last photo taken for the set but then I remembered the Shohei Ohtani card is from his press conference. Maybe it'll be the last action shot, unless something from the postseason made it in. It also happened to be Seager's 1000th career MLB game. His brother Corey plays for the Dodgers (knew that), but he has another brother, Justin, who was drafted by the Mariners as well.
This is Seager's sixth consecutive Opening Day appearance, going back to 2013.
Like LeMahieu yesterday, Seager was not featured in Series 1 but the same photo is used on the Factory Team Set card.
Cubs Ties?: None?
